Aryo Radityo Sawung, Master’s Degree in Education at the University of Arkansas in Curriculum and Instruction

Aryo Radityo Sawung works at the Ministry of National Education as an assistant manager for Reading Culture Development, under the Directorate General of Nonformal and Informal Education. He previously studied social welfare science at University of Indonesia and wrote his thesis on children of the streets.
At the Ministry he has organized seminars and workshops and provided grants to civil society organizations to promote a reading culture in Indonesia. He loves his job, and wants to learn how to be more effective.
Aryo is now studying for a Master’s Degree in Education at the University of Arkansas in Curriculum and Instruction. The department is recognized as one of the leading teacher preparation programs in the U.S. by the American Association of Teacher Education.
