Program Description:
- Master’s Degrees from U.S. Universities in Public Affairs, Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration, Public Management, Non-profit Management or related fields
- The objectives of the training is to build the knowledge, skills and leadership capability of key officers within targeted national government units, regional governments, universities, think tanks and other civil society organizations in the areas of public administration, public policy, public affairs and related fields.
- The program will contribute to Democracy and Governance objectives by targeting participants from key institutions related to anti-corruption, policy analysis and research, local governance and non-profit/NGO management.
Target Participants:
- Young professionals with good track records and promising futures in government or civil society organizations (all).
- Must have demonstrated working experience in fields of anti-corruption, government accountability, public administration or policy research and analysis (all).
- Employees of Indonesian universities, think tanks or civil society organizations that conduct and disseminate policy research and analysis. Emphasis of their education should be on the knowledge, methods, and techniques for conducting policy analysis.
- Mid-level or senior managers working in regional government. Emphasis of their education should be on public sector management or public administration in order to improve public services.
- Employees of key NGO-civil society organizations working in the field of accountability, anti-corruption, budget transparency, public service delivery or conflict resolution. Emphasis of their education should be on NGO administration, non-profit management and public accountability/anti-corruption.
- Employees of the Supreme Audit Board or Corruption Eradication Committee. Emphasis of their education should be on public accountability and issues related to corruption and money politics.
- Employees of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Directorate General of Politics and National Unity. Preferred emphasis of their education should be on government-NGO relations.
